The series Antique presents a collection of conceptual photographs inspired by the art and aesthetics of ancient Greece and Rome, particularly classical sculpture. Instead of relying on digital tools, the artist embraces traditional craftsmanship. Human models are painted with black and white body paint to mimic the texture and tonality of marble statues. The backgrounds are hand-painted by the artist to resemble the veined surfaces of temple marble, creating an evocative setting that enhances the illusion of stepping into an ancient world.
